Quick Guide
  • Dream realms use a difficulty-specific Treasure Key. The community Rift reference requires level 70 on Inferno, The Brave Memorial and one each of Cinderlord Horns, Defiled Wyrm Scales and Frostheart Crystal per completed run. Training Grounds is a separate non-attacking damage-test target.

Dream realms, Mythic Rift and Training Grounds solve different problems

Dream realms are treasure-key destinations on the world map. Mythic Rift is a separate Inferno activity entered through The Brave Memorial in the City of Veldak. Training Grounds is a damage-test space opened through a Training Dummy NPC. They should not be treated as three interchangeable endgame farming modes: each has its own entry condition, costs and purpose.

Use the named destination and its entry interface as the first check. An aggregate map may say that a special location is open from the start while omitting the town unlock or difficulty requirement. Wikily’s dedicated Rift entry page is more specific: level 70 on Inferno and a 1,000,000-gold Memorial unlock. This page preserves that difference rather than treating a map marker as complete access proof.

Use the treasure key for the current difficulty

Wikily Treasure Maps entry table
Current difficultyOne required keyConsumption described
NormalSilver Treasure KeyWhen the map is cleared
NightmareGolden Treasure KeyWhen the map is cleared
InfernoRoyal Treasure KeyWhen the map is cleared

The map source combines all three key names in a compact special-stage record. The dedicated entry page instead maps one key to each difficulty. Do not read the merged list as a requirement to spend three keys on one Normal map. Before entering, confirm the selected difficulty, the key in inventory and the stated consumption point.

The key-drop reference states a 0.05% roll per cleared encounter, with only the boss encounter rolling it in Mythic Rift, and it qualifies those loot rules as offline-character rules. That percentage is a source-stated probability, not a guarantee of a key after 2,000 encounters. Royal keys also have source-listed fishing and Lucky Wheel routes. Compare the actual available route and cost before planning repeated entries.

Prepare the three Mythic Rift components

The Rift entry page states that the materials must be in inventory, are consumed only when the run finishes, and are needed again for a rerun or next tier. It states that leaving or dying consumes none. Verify the current entry panel before relying on that rule online; this guide has not run the activity in the current client.

That consumption point changes how you prepare a session. A single complete set can enable an attempt under the source rule, but it is not enough for an unlimited successful loop. Keep component supply, survival and the reason for choosing a particular tier as separate questions. Avoid salvaging or spending a component for another purpose without reviewing the plan.

Understand the Rift before applying a farming claim

Wikily describes tiers 1–100, all with level 70 enemies. For single-player characters, completing a run opens the next tier, with Inferno required as the current difficulty. A described run has nine regular encounters followed by a boss encounter, and no elite encounters. Higher tiers make enemies stronger and raise gold and experience; the exact result for an online character can be server-planned.

The loot overview draws a useful distinction: gold and potion charges can roll during regular Rift encounters, whereas equipment, gems, runes, treasure keys and the Mythic Treasure Chest roll only at the boss encounter. Judge a completed-run farming result against that event, not against the number of individual enemies seen. A partial run that contains many kills is not equivalent to another completed boss-loot opportunity.

Use Training Grounds for a narrow damage comparison

The Training Dummy NPC has a Training option in the City of Tazan, the City of Aldenreach and the City of Veldak. The community source describes a single indestructible dummy that does not attack, with minions summonable as in town. This makes a controlled comparison possible, but it does not establish survival, town recovery or boss mechanics.

Keep a baseline configuration

Record your class, active ability, weapon, talents, runes and minions before changing one component.

Compare one change on the dummy

Observe the same output measure under the same conditions. If a timed effect matters, use a consistent observation window; no fixed optimal duration is established here.

Return to the target stage

Test whether the damage change also preserves health and a functioning loot return. A dummy cannot expose incoming damage or capacity failures.

Retain the distinction in notes

Label dummy output separately from complete-stage results. Do not publish a dummy comparison as a fastest-farming or best-boss-build claim.

Special-destination questions

Q: Why does one map say Mythic Rift is open from the start?

AFK Meta’s map record uses that label, while Wikily’s dedicated entry page supplies the level 70, Inferno and Memorial conditions. This guide uses the specific entry description and retains the source difference.

Q: Do I need all three treasure keys for one map?

Wikily maps Silver to Normal, Golden to Nightmare and Royal to Inferno. The combined key list in an aggregate map is not evidence that all three are consumed together.

Q: Can a training result prove a build survives Mythic Rift?

No. The training dummy does not attack or die. Survival and completed-run rewards require a separate actual-stage observation.

Q: Are these rewards guaranteed?

A listed reward pool identifies possible drops unless a source explicitly states otherwise. This guide does not establish guaranteed yields or reproduce another source’s small sample as its own test.
