- Wikily reports Expedition Camp at 750 gold after XP Gain I; it enables closed-game gold and XP collected on the next town entry. The minimum absence is one minute, with eight base hours and sixteen after all time-limit upgrades.
- The reported reward uses the furthest unlocked stage on the current difficulty. It excludes items, materials, keys and potion charges, so it is not equivalent to leaving a live loot run open.
What happens after the application closes
A hero fighting while you work is live farming; earning after the process closes is the Expedition system. Character mode is another distinction: Wikily says Singleplayer calculates the closed-game reward locally, while Online receives the server’s result. None of those labels tells you whether the Camp is unlocked. Check the specific Life Skill before assuming that a stable open-game loop earns through a powered-off session.
Evidence: Offline Rewards
| Goal | Reported closed-game result | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Gold or character XP | Included with Camp and timing conditions | Inspect the reward receipt on town entry |
| New equipment or Legendary Reins | Not included | Use live farming or another item source |
| Crafting materials or keys | Not included | Plan an active/open-game resource session |
| Refilling potion charges | Not included | Handle recovery with the relevant town/Life Skill flow |
| Online trading or leaderboard | A separate character-mode feature | Camp ownership does not grant access |

Find the Camp and its prerequisite path
In town, open Life Skills and locate the XP branch. Wikily’s tree lists Auto Recovery at 50 gold, XP Gain I at 150 after it, then Expedition Camp at 750 after XP Gain I. The Camp description ties accumulated gold and experience to the highest unlocked area and collection on the next town entry. If you have bought none of that path, the listed costs total 950 gold; that is a sum of reported nodes, not a claim that every build offers a direct 750-gold unlock.
Evidence: XP Gain branch
Inspect the branch connection
Confirm Auto Recovery and the required XP Gain I are purchased. Similar node names occur elsewhere in the tree; follow the actual connecting line.
Read the Camp description
Check cost, prerequisite and reward wording before confirming. The available figures are Wikily reports rather than a current-client screenshot.
Record the starting state
Keep hero mode, difficulty, furthest unlocked stage, level, gold and XP. Note the game version and the exact time you quit.
Use a meaningful short absence
The reported minimum is one minute; choose several minutes for a first test rather than immediately reopening and calling an empty result a bug.
Enter town and inspect the receipt
Wikily says collection occurs on the next town entry. Compare rewarded time, stage, gold and XP, not only the first screen after launching.
Evidence: XP Gain branch · Offline Rewards
This routine tests the conditions you control without changing mode or several skills at once. Keep the same hero and difficulty for the first comparison. An offline-mode hero created for the test does not establish the behavior of the online main you usually play.
Plan around counted time
| Entry as captured | Extra time | Listed cost |
|---|---|---|
| Base Camp limit | 8 hours | Camp unlock: 750 gold |
| Expedition Supplies I, first listed entry | +2 hours | 20,000 gold |
| Expedition Supplies I, second listed entry | +2 hours | 35,000 gold |
| Expedition Supplies II | +4 hours | 50,000 gold |
Evidence: Offline Rewards
The captured source repeats the name Expedition Supplies I for two different nodes. Preserve that distinction by cost and position rather than silently renaming the second one. The three upgrades add eight hours to the base eight, for a reported sixteen-hour limit. Their listed purchase costs total 105,000 gold before prerequisite nodes; the actual route can cost more. Read the connected branch before budgeting.
Evidence: Offline Rewards · Gold Find branch
Counted duration is the smaller of absence and the current limit, measured in whole minutes according to Wikily. For example, a twelve-hour absence with the base Camp is capped at eight rewarded hours. With all upgrades it fits within sixteen hours. A twenty-hour absence with all upgrades still caps at sixteen, leaving four hours outside the model. These are timing examples, not measured gold or XP receipts.
Evidence: Offline Rewards
Do not buy a cap extension merely because it exists. If your normal absences fit inside eight hours, extra maximum time changes no counted duration in that routine. If your usual absence is twelve hours, the added hours may matter; compare the purchase cost with the extra reward your own receipt shows. The gold cost alone does not supply a universal payback time.
Understand the stage used for rewards
Wikily reports the furthest unlocked stage on the current difficulty, rather than the last selected live node or the furthest cleared stage. Dream realms count; Mythic Rift and Training Grounds do not. For an equal progression distance, the source uses higher enemy level, and specifically places The Cinder Crown: 1 ahead of Dreamy Keep. The result should therefore be checked in the receipt rather than inferred from where you left the live loop.
Evidence: Offline Rewards
On Normal, the reported level is the selected stage’s highest enemy level. On Nightmare and Inferno the source uses 70. Hero level can then reduce XP: the page reports one-sixth less XP per enemy for each level above the stage, down to one XP per enemy at six or more levels above it. XP past character level 70 goes to Paragon. Those are secondary mechanics; the article does not certify current code or a server’s calculation.
Evidence: Offline Rewards
A capped duration and an over-levelled hero explain different outcomes. A full eight-hour receipt with weak XP may be using a low stage level; a shorter-than-expected duration may instead be the time limit or session accounting. Raising the cap alone does not address an XP penalty for being above the stage level. Inspect the fields before deciding which upgrade or progression target to pursue.
A source-scoped gold example
Wikily’s Normal table lists 470 enemies per hour and 1,410 gold per hour at stage level 20. Under that model, two counted hours give 2,820 gold, and eight give 11,280. This is an arithmetic example using a reported rate; it is not a promised return for any level-20 hero. The relevant input is the rewarded stage, difficulty and counted time, and the page says Gold Find does not count in this model.
Evidence: Offline Rewards
| Input | Example assumption | What would invalidate it |
|---|---|---|
| Difficulty | Normal | Nightmare/Inferno use a different model |
| Stage level | 20 | Hero level alone is not the stage input |
| Counted time | 2 hours or 8 hours | A cap, whole-minute accounting or another receipt duration |
| Gold rate | 1,410/hour in Wikily’s table | Changed game mechanics or a server result that differs |
Evidence: Offline Rewards
Record a difference rather than forcing the receipt to match the table. Online rewards are server-provided in Wikily’s account; the local formula cannot be treated as independently verified server behavior. A gold estimate also says nothing about equipment gained, because equipment is excluded from the reported reward.
When rewards look absent or wrong
| Observation | Inspect | Next useful action |
|---|---|---|
| No reward immediately on loading | Town collection condition | Enter town and inspect the receipt |
| No reward after a very short absence | One-minute minimum and Camp purchase | Retry a recorded interval with the unlock confirmed |
| Rewarded time stops at eight hours | Purchased cap upgrades | Compare the Camp summary with the receipt |
| Long absence gives low XP | Rewarded stage and hero level | Inspect progression/difficulty and source-reported XP penalty |
| No items or materials | Reward categories | Use a live source for those resources |
| Online result differs from a formula | Server-provided mode calculation | Keep receipt, mode, duration and version for a report |

Q: Do I get potion charges while closed?
Wikily excludes potion charges from Expedition rewards; use the appropriate live recovery flow.
Q: Is the maximum always sixteen hours?
The reported base is eight. Sixteen requires all three time-limit upgrades; inspect your purchased nodes.
Q: Does the Camp use my highest cleared map?
Wikily explicitly reports highest unlocked stage, with exclusions and difficulty rules. Compare the receipt’s named stage.
Q: Are two websites confirming the same cap independently?
The secondary field guide links Wikily for these mechanics. This article treats the matching accounts as a shared report rather than two independent gameplay verifications.
