Quick Guide
  • Match the specific changed system and patch to your installed build. g corrects equipment-slot distribution; h changes several class loops and online licensing; i adds further ability, Rein, auction and confirmation changes.
  • The official-news snapshot was captured through 1.0.0i. Announcement timestamps below are UTC source-publication times; they are not this article’s public-release time or proof of a gameplay test.

Read a patch as a change to one system

A version label is useful only when tied to the mechanic you are comparing. A Hunter bow shortage, a Monk Basic trigger and an Auction House button can all change in different announcements. Applying every patch row to every symptom obscures the actual diagnosis. Read the installed build, the source date and the precise skill, item or menu named by the advice.

Name the symptom

Identify the system: drop distribution, damage condition, trigger counting, license access, pickup, UI or connection.

Match the source version

Keep the older guide’s stated build. Find the official row that changes the same system, rather than inferring from a later date alone.

Inspect the current tooltip or menu

Read coefficient, condition, cost and confirmation wording in the installed client. Record it separately from what the announcement says.

Repeat a comparable operation

Use one familiar node or menu flow after updating. Hold gear, target and mode constant where possible; changing everything at once hides the patch’s practical effect.

These tables describe announced intended behavior. They do not claim that every line was reproduced in the live client. The date of this source review likewise does not transform an old announcement into a newly measured mechanic.

g: slot distribution, storage and selected fixes

1.0.0g · announced September 29, 2026 at 21:52:51 UTC
SystemAnnounced changePlayer decision
Equipment slotsEven chance per slot; old Hunter shortage tied to fewer weapon typesDiagnose filter/processing after checking the version; no bow per-run guarantee
StorageStash All and Take All buttonsUse the actual storage action and protect items before bulk movement
MemoryAbout 130 MB less RAM consumptionAn announced reduction, not an independent hardware benchmark
Status tooltipsHover displays remaining durationCompare buff duration rather than only icon presence
Warrior WhirlwindStops to collect materialsA changed collection interaction, not a material-yield multiplier
MonkChain Force and Spirit Twin attack issues fixedKeep this fix distinct from h’s later Chain Force redesign
AchievementsShoulder on-kill boss trigger and fishing/chest trigger fixedAn old achievement pop is not proof of a normal boss clear
Beach final bossWrong skull drop fixedDo not build a route around an older erroneous drop
Online accessSelected false bans and pirated access fixedA current appeal or license issue still needs its own evidence

The slot correction is one of the easiest lines to overstate. “Even per equipment slot” supplies neither the overall equipment-drop rate nor a probability for a named Legendary weapon. Likewise, an approximate memory reduction does not show your total memory headroom while running a browser and other applications. Keep the scope of the line when deciding what it explains.

h: Hunter attack and talent changes

1.0.0h Hunter · announced October 1 at 01:48:26 UTC
Ability/talentAnnounced before → afterScope
Steady Shot170% → 250% weapon damage; about 30% faster castBase coefficient and cast adjustment; scaling also raised
Multishot140% → 200% weapon damageBase coefficient; scaling also raised
Rapid Fire25% → 35% weapon damage per hitPer-hit value, not total measured channel damage
Arcane Arrowstorm90% → 160% per hit; slightly more hits possible in a short windowHit count and coefficient both relevant
FlareDizzy added: −35% movement speed for 3 secondsA control effect, not a universal damage increase
Improved Steady Shot2% → 3% bonus per pierced enemy per rankRequires the relevant pierce interaction
Sustained FireMaximum rank 6 → 8More available ranks; spending decisions still matter
Rapid FlareCooldown reduction 8% → 6% per rankA reduction in that talent’s per-rank benefit
Venom Lore6% → 8% damage to Poisoned per rankRequires a Poisoned target
Double Tap30% → 35% Basic double-strike chanceA probability change, not every attack doubling

As an arithmetic illustration, Steady Shot’s coefficient rises by 80 percentage points, or about 47.1% relative to 170. That is not the same as adding 80% final DPS. The cast adjustment, talent ranks, target state, misses and other stats also matter. Rapid Fire’s 25-to-35 change is ten percentage points per hit, a 40% relative coefficient increase. Use these comparisons to understand the note, without calling them a measured full-build gain.

h also fixes pierce and ricochet to operate in that order, repairs Deadeye Grips with Improved Twin Arrows, and fixes Poison Trap tooltip scaling. Arcane Corrosion is raised to 250% weapon damage at one stack and 400% at two; Arcane Charge rises from 5% to 6% Arcane Damage per stack; Venomous Leech’s Poison-tick Life on Hit chance rises from 75% to 100%. A tooltip fix and a mechanical coefficient change are different reasons an older screenshot may disagree.

h and i: class behavior, not interchangeable buffs

Monk and Sorcerer changes
Version/systemAnnounced behaviorWhat to keep separate
h · Monk Chain ForceEvery seventh own Basic cast applies Vulnerable for 3s, replacing every-third bonus direct damageCounted casts versus individual repeated hits
h · Mirror StepsPhysical bonus after dodge 40% → 60%, duration 3s → 4sRequires dodge condition
h · Piercing LungeHits along the lunge path rather than a narrow coneCoverage fix versus weapon coefficient
h · Whirlwind StaffMore reliable surrounding tornado spawn/seekingNo measured single-target uptime provided
h · Sorcerer Ice Nova10% → 30% weapon damage; scaling and tooltip correctedBase coefficient versus every level’s final value
h · Ice BlockOwn buffs apply while in Ice BlockSelf-applied effect scope
i · Threefold Strike85% → 100% weapon damageLater Basic coefficient change
i · Seismic StrikeThird-hit shockwave 100% → 120%; scaling also raisedThird-hit component, not every hit
i · Furious Fist / Chi Bolt75% → 80% / 85% → 90%; scaling raisedDifferent abilities and components
i · Chi Bolt healingThird bolt’s healing per level increasedNo precise healing value announced
i · Sacred Orbs / Divine ThunderRadius about +10% / early-cast miss fixGeometry and targeting, not equal damage buffs

For N-cast talents such as Chain Force and Arcane Exposure, official h says only your own casts count. Repeated casts and minion or summon attacks no longer advance the count; death and area changes reset it. If a build relies on a minion speeding that counter, the older assumption needs review. If a test includes deaths or area changes, do not treat the interrupted counter as uninterrupted uptime.

h and i: loot, licenses and menu changes

Other changed player decisions
Version/systemAnnounced rulePractical boundary
h · Frost Dragon5% Golden Treasure Chest chance added to its missing loot tableA specific boss/chest chance, not every loot rate
h · Lord of the Crimson ValeCarriage capacity 25 → 30Named minion capacity, not every carriage
h · Online licensesOwned copy required; shared/free-weekend/café use SingleplayerSeparate Steam account Market eligibility
h · Talents wheelScrolls up/down instead of zoomAn old gesture tutorial may no longer match
i · FlareSplash radius 2 → 2.5Separate from h’s Dizzy addition
i · Violet Skybow+170% vs Injured replaced by +170% vs DistantDo not add both conditions
i · Legendary ReinsAlways picked up regardless of filtersCapacity still finite
i · Mana UIUnaffordable abilities and mana cost tinted redRead resource cause before blaming an attack failure
i · Safety confirmationsStronger deletion and Divine salvage confirmationNo undo is announced
i · Auction HouseBuy Items added; both buttons inside SteamDifferent navigation from external-browser advice
i · Network noticeSmaller transparent unstable-network messageUI size change is not a connectivity fix

This is why a through-h duplicate-Rein filter recommendation must not override i’s explicit pickup exception. It is also why the Auction House’s new buy button should not be used as evidence that an account has met every trading requirement. Patch notes name the changed interface; account state and actual item eligibility remain separate.

Q: Which patch should I check for missing Hunter bows?

g for the slot-distribution correction, then the actual pickup/filter/processing path. h and i damage changes do not supply a bow probability.

Q: Can I use beta leaderboard rules as current retail rules?

The 0.1.13 Treant fastest-clear rule is historical. Inspect the current ranking/event screen before assuming the same format or reward.

Q: Does a bigger coefficient prove higher full-build DPS?

It changes one input. Hit count, cast timing, target condition and the rest of the build still require a comparable test.

Q: Does the newest source timestamp prove the newest installed version?

No. Source publication, article revision and installed-client observation are different timestamps.
